Partner Rodney Edmondson and the team at M&E have established a well known practice area related to “making forever families”.  Adoptions are normally quiet different than the fast paced civil litigation that the firm is involved in, however, Rodney views adoption work as a “calling” and has assisted over a thousand families through this special event.

 

Whether it is a step-parent or close family adoption, private or agency placed adoption or even just general adoption advice, Rodney is thrilled to help families in North Alabama through this process.  Rodney works with foster parents and the Alabama Department of Human Resources and in many of these cases, the adoptive parents will not have to pay anything out of pocket for the adoption.  In most other cases, we are able to operate on a “flat fee” arrangement where you will know up front the cost of the adoption process with no surprise fees or costs.
